2. We will make a courtesy call to confirm receipt of your inquiry. An information packet will be sent in the mail which includes an in-depth 2 hour DVD (applicants tell us this DVD answered on average over 90% of the questions they had).
3. Complete the Franchise Inquiries Form online.
4. A conference call will be arranged with one of our Network Development Managers who will answer any remaining questions you may have.
5. Following this discussion, if both parties wish to proceed further, a visit is arranged to Corporate HQ in Orlando for Discovery Day.
6. Confirm Discovery Day date in Orlando.
7. Fly in to Orlando, or drive, the night before the Discovery Day. Stay in a local hotel paid for by The Filta Group.
8. Spend the Discovery Day talking with local franchise owners, meeting with Victor Clewes, President, and other staff members. The FDD is given out on the day.
9. One week after the Discovery Day, a tele-conference call is arranged to answer any remaining questions and to agree on an action plan for going forward.
10. If affirmative, complete Letter of Intent with deposit (providing the FDD legal timeframe has expired).
If agreed and accepted...
11. Decide how you will operate your business: Sole Proprietor, LLC, etc... discuss with Jim Katsihtis/CFO if required.
12. Receive franchise agreement for signature.
13. Return agreements.
14. Agree on opening date for your new business (balance of franchise fee due 6 weeks prior to opening date).
15. Forward trading details to corporate.
16. Corporate arranges training and Business Development Manager support, equipment and opening package, and van fitting.
17. You arrange purchase or lease of van.
18. Attend classroom and field training.
19. Marketing by Corporate of the business in your territory commences.
20. Take delivery of van and equipment, Open for business. Business Development Manager begins securing new customers in your territory.
